Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants
NOTICE: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AS OF MAY 31, 2011. APPLICATIONS FOR PHASE II OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK GRANT (EECBG) PROGRAM ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED.
Phase II of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program provided supplemental funding up to $50,000 for eligible New Jersey local government entities to lower the cost of installing energy conservation measures. Funding for the EECBG program was provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
When used in conjunction with Direct Install, the combination of program incentives with the block grant meant eligible local governments could fund up to $125,000 of energy efficiency measures.
|Attention eligible New Jersey local government entities, effective May 31, 2011 Phase II of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program is discontinued and is no longer accepting applications.|
Due to the federal source of funds, applicants were subject to special ARRA terms and conditions as described in the complete program application package.
