Geothermal Technology II: For Design Professionals

This course will review Geoexchange technology, providing multiple case studies.  Computer design software updates and life cycle costs will be investigated in detail.  The attendee will become familiar with GHP technology as it relates to LEED certified buildings.  The afternoon session will focus on diurnal ice storage and other phase change materials.

Responding to Climate Change in New Jersey

TCNJ is hosting a public speakers panel event and networking reception focused on response to the problem of climate change in the state.  The theme will focus on how different sectors of the state are responding to the problem under the general umbrella of the State's greenhouse gas commitments and draft Energy Master Plan.  Presentations will be made by representatives of state government, universities, businesses, utilities and community groups followed by Q & A.

Energy Master Plan Energy Efficiency Strategy Meeting

The next stage of the development of an energy efficiency strategy for the NJ Draft Energy Master Plan will be held on Oct 30 in the BPU Hearing Room at Newark from 10am-noon.  Representatives of Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnership (NEEP) will present the next stage of their work, offering a presentation that will address policy and program elements of strategies for all customer sectors and discussing their recommendations with stakeholders.
