CORE Activity

INSTALLATION SUMMARY

RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS INSTALLED

New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program has provided significant financial incentives and assistance towards the generation of clean, renewable energy in New Jersey. Importantly, the development of renewable energy helps reduce pollutants in our environment and dependence on foreign oil while enhancing the economy and health of New Jersey.

As of July 31, 2008, CORE Rebate Program has facilitated the installation of 3,257 renewable energy projects across the state providing 63,640 kW of installed capacity.  This includes solar, wind, biomass, and fuel cell projects.

New Jersey solar installations now provide 57,860 kW of installed capacity through 3,257 projects that have participated in the CORE Rebate Program and the SREC-Only Pilot Program.
