Applications and E-forms

Applications for the Customer On-Site Renewable Energy (CORE) Program are no longer being accepted.  The program ended as of December 31, 2008.

CORE Rebate Program Forms

  10 Year Certification:

The Board of Public Utilities requires that all renewable energy project applicants that receive a rebate must sign a certification that the applicant will not sell or otherwise transfers the equipment for which rebates were paid to any party for use outside of New Jersey; if the system is sold or transferred out of the state the customer will refund a pro-rata share of the rebate received. This obligation will last for 10 years, beginning on the date of receipt of the CORE rebate.

Residential Electric Consumption Calculator with ENERGY STAR:

The Board of Public Utilities requires all renewable energy project applicants to show records of their electricity consumption for the past 12 months. However, there are instances where this is not possible. This residential consumption calculator has been designed to allow customers that do not have 12 months of consumption data to estimate their on-site consumption. When using this calculator complete the customer and installer information at the top of the form and add the number of each applicable appliance/load. Calculate the total electric consumption at the bottom.

Applicants who have questions about the CORE rebate program for a wind system should contact Mark Loeser, CORE Program Account Manager at mark.loeser@csgrp.com.

NOTICE: The Board of Public Utilities requires an anemometer with recording capability on each wind turbine installed in the state of New Jersey. This requirement has been instituted as a protective measure for wind turbine installations that may be underperforming. The anemometer will verify the site specific wind speed, which can be compared to the calculated wind speed at the time of application. This is an industry best practice used throughout the United States and will be incorporated into the New Jersey requirment effective April 5, 2008.
