SREC-Only Pilot Program
SREC-Only Pilot Program and SREC Registration Process
Summary
The 2008 Renewable Clean Energy Programs, including the SREC-Only Pilot Program, ended as of December 31, 2008. Information about the program will remain on this page for reference. Projects which had been accepted in the SREC-Only Pilot Program may be completed prior to their expiration dates under the administrative processes and requirements established for the SREC-Only Pilot Program. All new SREC-only projects (i.e. projects which are not eligible for or do not request upfront rebates) must apply as non-rebated projects under the 2009 Renewable Energy Incentive Program (REIP).
Key adminstrative functions of the SREC-Only Pilot Program have been renamed the SREC Registration Process and will remain active as part of the Renewable Energy Incentive Program (REIP) in 2009.
The SREC-Only Pilot Program was designed to enable New Jersey customer-generators to participate in the SREC market without participating in the CORE rebate program. New customers and customers already in the CORE program queue were eligible to participate in the SREC-Only Pilot Program, but CORE Program customers had to forgo their CORE program rebate to do so. The SREC-Only Pilot Program was intended to provide customers and project developers with more flexibility to choose to accelerate project development, provided they are comfortable with their project financials without the benefit of a rebate. SRECs are a market instrument to assist in financing solar that can and will change in the market depending on supply and demand. NJCEP makes no representation as to current or future price of SRECs and this risk is entirely assumed by the registrant. If you have any questions about the SREC-Only Pilot Program or how to complete the registration packet, please call the us at 866-NJSMART.

2. SREC Registration Process Status Reports. The status report is posted each month, and contains information on the previous period's activity as well as total program activity. The most recent report is posted at the top of the list below.
