HVAC Portal
HVAC Portal Information
The HVAC Portal has been developed to provide contractors and customers with access to online application portals for the WARM and COOLAdvantage Programs.
You may find the abbreviated guide of how to use the online portal helpful.
It is highly recommended that customers or contractors submit applications online for quick and easy submissions. The HVAC portals can also be accessed and utilized via Tablet and Smart Phones (Android, iPhone).
Use this document to verify if a project is in an Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ)
Note: Any heating and/or cooling equipment you install under New Jersey's Clean Energy Program may be subject to random verification inspections conducted by the program team. Call 866-NJSMART should you have any questions.
HVAC Processing Update as of 12.9.19
- The HVAC program (WARM/COOLAdvantage) has been experiencing longer than normal delays in processing rebate applications. We are working diligently to get caught up and appreciate your patience as we do our best to process all applications. This timeline will be revised/updated peridoically as we work through our backlog and towards reducing our processing timeframes.
- As we go through the application review process, we may need to contact you for any missing or incomplete information before we can confirm your eligibility for a rebate. Please be diligent in providing the missing information as soon as you can to avoid further delays.
- Applications received in mid-October are now being reviewed. We will continue to update this information on a weekly basis.
- When your application has been approved for a rebate, you will receive notification by email. From that point, you can expect to receive your rebate within 60 days.
- As a reminder, customers and contractors can check on the status of individual applications at any time via the portals above.
Changes to HVAC Program Guidelines:
