This Straw Proposal contains Staff’s recommendations for the design and implementation of the Solar Successor Program, a long-term, durable solar incentive program that aligns with the State’s ambitious clean energy goals while balancing ratepayer impacts and supporting a thriving solar industry. The Straw Proposal builds on the multi-year 2019/2020 Solar Transition process, which included past stakeholder meetings and reports. It also launches the stakeholder process for the development of a permanent Community Solar Energy Program.
Staff will be holding four topic-specific virtual stakeholder workshops to discuss the Straw Proposal. The topics, dates, and registration links for each workshop are provided in the Stakeholder Notice preceding the Straw Proposal.
